Rangers defender Jon Flanagan could return to the squad to take on Hearts at Hampden on Sunday, following an injury absence.
The 26-year-old hasn’t made a Gers matchday squad in domestic competition since he played the full 90 minutes in the Old Firm defeat at Ibrox over two months ago.

A second hernia operation in a matter of months has seen him out for much of the campaign, with injury restricting him to just six appearances in all competitions.
The closest he’s got to playing in recent times was making the bench against Porto in late October.
He’s since missed out on the 18 for fixtures against Motherwell and Ross County, though, suggesting a lingering lack of fitness.
However, RangersTV video footage showed him taking a full part in training on Friday in the penultimate session before the League Cup semi-final.
He’s highly unlikely to start the game given the recent form of Borna Barisic, who has nailed down the left-back berth in the Scouser’s absence.

Yet, in terms of contingency options for such a big game, you have to think Gerrard would pluck for Flanagan on the bench ahead of Andy Halliday, who for all his endeavour, isn’t a natural defender.
Expect the ex-Liverpool man to feature amongst the substitutes on Sunday, then, as the Gers look to go a step further than 2018/19 by making the League Cup Final.
