Sheyi Ojo wants to tear up SPL alongside Ryan Kent at Rangers

Sheyi Ojo has discussed fellow Liverpool winger Ryan Kent, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
Ojo and Kent came up through the Academy together at Anfield, with both players gaining much of their senior experience away on loan.

Last season, the latter made a major impact at Ibrox. He endeared himself to the Ibrox faithful with his pace, trickery, and appetite for the big occasion.

Now, Ojo is hoping to follow in his footsteps.
“He had a great season and became a favourite with the fans,” the 21-year-old said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun. “Hopefully I can do the same and show everyone what I can do.”
“I spoke to him before I joined and he said he loved it up here. He spoke highly of the staff, the players and the fans.”

“He said that from every point of view it was the best loan you could have. As soon as Rangers wanted to sign me I didn’t have anything to think about. It was straightforward.
“I can’t control any of the stuff about the possibility of Ryan coming back but if he came then it would be just like in the academy. Hopefully, we can be tearing up the league.”

The prospect of these two players teaming up again should be an exciting one for Rangers fans.
As we know, Kent prefers to play on the left, while Ojo would rather operate on the right flank and cut inside onto his left foot.
Kent made an excellent impression last season, and if he returns, he’ll hope to make more contributions in terms of goals and assists.
As for Ojo, his first task is to dislodge Daniel Candeias from the starting line-up. If he can achieve that, he’s likely to be given a license to express himself and to create opportunities for his teammates.
