Rangers got back to winning ways this weekend, with a 1-0 triumph over Hamilton at Ibrox.
It was a dominant if wasteful performance, in which a bit of quality in the final third was lacking.
However, one young Rangers player did enough to earn himself a place in the SPFL Team of the Week, alongside an in-form loanee.
Ross McCrorie hasn’t played much football this season, but he was solid as a rock in a deep-lying midfield role on Sunday.

The 20-year-old was efficient in possession and quick to snuff out any opposition attacks throughout. It was an accomplished display and it earned him recognition above match-winner Daniel Candeias in this week’s team.
Alongside McCrorie in the XI is Ryan Hardie. Since returning from injury, the 21-year-old has hit the ground running with adopted club Livingston.

It seems he is relishing the challenge of leading the line for the Lions and is producing the goods.
During his side’s demolition of Hearts on Friday night, the forward notched his side’s third and fourth goals in a match that finished 5-0.
Despite that being Livi’s biggest ever top flight win, Hardie was their only representative in this team. That shows just how influential the Man of the Match was on proceedings.
All-in-all, it’s a good sign to see both a first team player and a loanee gain recognition.
After a dip in form of late, Rangers have been underrepresented, but McCrorie and Hardie have now put that right.
