It’s over a month now, since Rangers were knocked out of the Europa League, in Vienna.
Certainly, it was a disappointing evening.

Yet, overall, the campaign was a great success.
After being knocked out in the First Qualifying Round to Progres Niederkorn in 2017, to even be in with a chance of reaching the knockout stages, was an achievement.
Along the way, there were several high points.
Firstly, securing a point away from home against highest ranking group opponents, Villarreal.

Similarly impressive, was a 3-1 victory over Rapid Vienna at Ibrox.
In the closing stages of that fixture, as the visitors chased an equaliser, Daniel Candeias pulled off something special.
The Portuguese chased down his own clearance and then won a 50-50 on the halfway line.
Spotting Alfredo Morelos bombing down the left flank, Candeias turned and audaciously back-heeled 25 yards down field.
Morelos didn’t have to break stride. As a result, he sealed all three points for the Gers.
This moment of genius was so good, it’s in the running for the best assist of the Europa League group stages.
Candeias finds himself in esteemed company, alongside former Chelsea player, Cesc Fabregas.
Red Bull Salzburg’s Andre Ramalho and Kevin Ruegg of FC Zurich, complete the shortlist.
Yet, from the responses of fans underneath, there’s only one winner.
