The kick-off time for Rangers’ Europa League qualifier against Willem II on Thursday has been pushed back, while the game is to be shown on RangersTV.

The third-round qualifier was originally due to kick-off at 6pm UK time but the Gers announced via their official Twitter account on Monday afternoon that it would now begin two hours later at 8pm UK Time.

The match will take place at the Koning Willem II Stadion in Tilburg and RangersTV are once again set to screen the fixture, with the club promising an announcement soon which will contain full broadcast details.

Rangers’ second-round qualifier against Lincoln Red Imps was shown by both RangersTV and Premier Sports, but Premier were forced into an apology due to problems with the pictures from Gibraltar and they are yet to confirm whether or not they will cover this game.

It promises to be a tough tie for Steven Gerrard’s men in the Netherlands, with Willem II hammering Progres Niederkorn in the previous round and producing another impressive scoreline in the Eredivisie at the weekend.

The Gers will be looking to bounce back from dropping points at Hibernian by securing a win and edging closer to their third successive qualification for the Europa League proper.

The change to the kick-off time means that regardless of the result, Rangers won’t arrive back in Glasgow until the early hours of Friday morning, leaving a short turnaround before their 12pm kick-off at Motherwell on Sunday.
