Rangers have signed an official “restaurant partnership” deal with popular peri peri chicken outlet Black Rooster in a move which is sure to excite supporters.
The Ibrox side continue to invest in a range of associate partnerships which can improve the club’s image and fan experiences with this move having the potential to revolutionise the club’s catering.
As part of the partnership, the popular Glasgow-based brand will be visible at Ibrox on matchday with Rangers claiming the partnership will focus on “supporter engagement” with several initiatives revolving around MyGers exclusive offers and giveaways [Rangers].
Black Rooster also took to Twitter to praise the deal as they announced that “massive things” were happening and urged fans to “look out” for them within the stadium in the future.
“The partnership marks another welcomed addition to our commercial partnership family,” explains Director of Commercial and Marketing James Bisgrove.
“Black Rooster is one of the fastest growing restaurants in the UK and, like Rangers, are expanding their international footprint with restaurants opening in the Middle East later this year.
“It is fantastic to welcome such an ambitious Scottish-based brand as a partner and we look forward to introducing their brilliant menus to our Ibrox match day supporter offering.”
Black Rooster have claimed that a visit to the club’s Govan store has already become a “matchday tradition” for some fans and that being from Glasgow they “know what football means to our customers and staff”.

Rangers fans will be licking their lips in anticipation and we believe that if they can get some of the delicious offerings from Black Rooster into Ibrox, then this will be a popular deal indeed.
Rangers continue to sign a range of partnerships with another penned only last week directly impacting the club’s first team squad.
