Tom Lawrence has been missing for a long time for Rangers, the best part of a year has been spent dealing with various injuries.
After a blistering start to his Rangers career where he looked like a player who could make a real difference, the Wales international is back at square one.
After a brief, but well received, cameo against Hamburg, Tom Lawrence has suffered another injury blow, however, it isn’t all bad news for Rangers fans.

Speaking at the open training session, the 29-year old attacking midfielder revealed that he has had a minor knock from a training incident but that it is nothing major and will be back in a few days.
Tom Lawrence setback but Rangers return is on the horizon
Given his recent history, Michael Beale will be keen to make sure that no risks are taken with Tom Lawrence because, when he is fully fit, he will be a real asset to Rangers.
Capable of playing anywhere behind a striker and as a number eight, Lawrence brings the sort of numbers that every manager wants to see from midfield.
Lawrence also keeps opposition defences, particularly those that like to sit in, honest too with his ability and desire to score goals from outside the box.

Too often in the past, teams have known that Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara and Steven Davis can be left with the ball outside the area due to their reluctance to shoot.
The best thing about Lawrence’s return is that he will be able to rotate with the likes of Todd Cantwell and Sam Lammers and won’t have to play every game which should, in theory, keep all of them sharp.
Michael Beale has genuine options in attack now and, hopefully, Tom Lawrence will be back soon for Rangers.
You can never have too many goalscorers in a team.
