On Friday afternoon, the official line-up for the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens was announced.
The Gers declared participation earlier in the week, but until now, the full list of their opponents was unconfirmed.
Rangers will go up against six Premier League sides and a Championship team, as well as two clubs from overseas.
Newcastle, Wolves, Leicester, Fulham, West Ham, and Brighton represent the English top flight, while reigning champions and second-tier club, Aston Villa, will also return.

Portimonense of Portugal and Japanese side Kashima Antlers, make up the competition.
This is the 20th edition of the Soccer Sevens, an event the Gers have never won. However, they have come a close second on three occasions, in 2009, 2010 and 2018.
It would take a brave man to write them off this time around, given recent successes at youth team and Reserves level.
The tournament is open age, so conceivably the Gers could send a team of mixed experience. However, it will be an Academy squad, likely to feature some standouts from Graeme Murty’s side or even from the

It’s another great opportunity for Young Gers to gain exposure to quality international opposition.
The three-day tournament doesn’t kick off until 17th May though, and there’s the small matter of a Scottish Youth Cup final to attend to before then.
