Rangers' new club shop at St Enoch Square is officially open

It’s a big day for Rangers fans, as the new club shop is officially open for business.

After weeks of speculation and updates, it emerged yesterday that the premises were set to open at 10am this morning.

At around 9am, the Ibrox Loyal twitter account uploaded the first pictures of the store’s interior.

As you can see, the pictures show shelf after shelf and rack after rack of Rangers mugs, toys and replica shirts. A great start to any Saturday morning!

The shop is located in St Enoch Square and is sure to be a very popular destination for Christmas shoppers over the next month.

It emerged in November, that the store was being operated by Elite, and today, Ibrox Loyal confirmed that Rangers were unable to officially promote the project due to an ongoing legal battle.

However, even without official promotion, word about the new store is sure to spread quickly. In fact, massive queues starting forming an hour before the scheduled opening.

There’s no doubt that the club was crying out for an outlet such as this in the city centre. Now, Gers fans won’t all have to head to the Ibrox Megastore, to get their hands on the latest kit.

Let’s just hope they have brought in enough stock, as this place will be swamped from now until Christmas!
