USA international, Matt Polster, has been speaking about his time at Ibrox, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The January signing has set his sights on finally making his debut, in the upcoming Old Firm fixture.

It’s would be quite a stage on which to make his Gers bow and perhaps an unlikely one.
If Steven Gerrard has waited this long without calling upon the converted right-back, he’s unlikely to change tack for such a massive encounter.

However, that’s not deterring an upbeat Polster.

“I would love to be a part of it”, he said, as quoted by the Record.
“Obviously it’s a big match. I haven’t even seen it live. I was away when we played them at the end of the year.”

“It’ll be quite a day. The expectation is always the same, you want to beat them.”
It’s encouraging that the former Chicago Fire man thinks he would be able to handle the pressure of stepping out come 31 March.

Having said that, he won’t be kidding himself.
He knows that with captain, James Tavernier, as his main competition, the most he can realistically hope for is a spot on the bench.
