Rangers have made a plea to all fans attending tonight’s Scottish Cup Fourth Round clash against Stranraer at Ibrox, drawing attention to the ‘Everyone, Anyone’ campaign.
The statement, released via Rangers.co.uk, calls on supporters to ‘strive to enhance our reputation as a club for everyone.’
It goes on to urge Bears not to engage in chanting, singing or behaviour which will give others ‘opportunities to criticise.’
The strongly-worded release also cautions against the use of flares in the ground, imploring fans not to ’embarrass’ the club.
Rangers were, of course, punished by UEFA earlier in the season, with charges that lead to closed sections for Europa League qualifying and group stage fixtures.
It’s good to see, though, that despite this being a domestic fixture under a different body’s jurisdiction, the message remains the same.

With tonight’s game the first competitive fixture of 2020, it’s a statement of intent from the club, who have regularly eluded to the ‘Everyone, Anyone’ campaign since it’s launch over the summer.
There was also confirmation that a minute’s silence will be observed prior to kick-off, to pay respect to Rangers legend Bobby Brown, who passed away earlier this week.
Gers fans have paid tribute to the former Rangers and Scotland goalkeeper and national team manager on social media, and it’s sure to be an emotional occasion for many in the ground this evening.
