Rangers loanees suffer late playoff final heartbreak

There was huge disappointment for two Rangers loanees on Saturday afternoon.
Kyle Bradley and Aidan McAdams were both part of the Annan Athletic squad who lost out to Clyde in the League One playoff final.

The Black and Golds took a 1-0 lead into the tie at Broadwood. However, that would prove not to be enough.
Goals from Martin McNiff (60) and a late penalty from Ally Love (86) crushed Annan hopes and secured promotion to the third tier for the hosts.
For Bradley, the result is bound to particularly sting. He spent an unsuccessful stint at Clyde last season.

He’s been a much more integral part of this Annan side, racking up 28 League appearances.

However, despite playing the full 90 minutes in the first leg, he was omitted from the starting XI on Saturday.

He joined fellow Gers loanee, Aidan McAdams, on the bench.
Bradley was to come on for the final 10 minutes but to no avail. There was no need for goalkeeper, McAdams, who ends the season with just three appearances for the Galabank outfit.
A disappointing end to the campaign for both young Gers. Now, the search for a new club begins for Bradley, after Rangers officially confirmed his Ibrox exit, on Friday.
