Several young players left Ibrox on loan during the January Transfer window. One of whom, was Myles Beerman.
Yet, this week’s Rangers ‘loan review’ shows it isn’t going well.
The 19-year-old Malta international has slipped down the pecking order in recent seasons.

He is officially an Academy player, but he has seven SPL appearance for Rangers. That includes six starts.
Yet, those came during the 2016-17 season and look a long way away now.
This his second stint back in his homeland, after briefly plying his trade at Birkirkara last season.
Unfortunately, though, its not working out as he would have hoped.
Initially, he slotted straight into a starting berth at left-back.
His team are sitting in a respectable third place in the table, too.
However, he hasn’t been able to nail down a spot.
He managed a rare 90 minutes in defeat to league leaders Hibernians on 10th February.
This week though, he is conspicuously absent from the ‘loan review’ on the club’s website.

After a little digging, it’s clear that he wasn’t required at all at the weekend.
Gzira drew 1-1 with Beerman’s previous adopted side, Birkirkara, but the full-back didn’t make it off the bench.
It must be frustrating for the youngster, who appears to have taken a few steps back recently.
He got a glimpse of the big time at Rangers, but is now struggling for game time back in Malta.
It’s surely unlikely he has much of a future at Ibrox.
