Zak Rudden has spoken to Capital City Press about recent praise he received from Steven Gerrard.
The 19-year-old striker is currently thriving on-loan at Falkirk in the Scottish Championship.

He’s bagged 10 goals for the Bairns this season, as he gets his first taste of senior football. His perfomances prompted the Gers boss to say he saw ‘a future’ at Ibrox for the ‘selfless’ homegrown talent [RangersTV].
“For a guy of his stature, who has done everything in football, to say such positive things about me is just incredible”, Rudden told
“I didn’t know what to say. It’s brilliant that he is watching me, knows how I am playing and is taking that interest.
“It shows that I’ve been doing the right things and I just want to keep that going – and maybe get even better in the last weeks of the season.
“It has given me a wee boost and made me determined to get a few more goals before the end of the season.”

Rudden’s adopted side could certainly do with a few more, too.
The £90k-rated [Transfermarkt] teenager has been their main contributor in a struggle of a campaign.
The Bairns currently sit third from last in the second tier, level on points with Partick Thistle and three clear of rock bottom Alloa Athletic.
Rudden is set to lead the line in the definition of a six-pointer, at home against the Wasps on Saturday afternoon.
