Rangers have been linked with a move for former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and current Fulham star Josh Onomah, who almost joined Michael Beale at QPR in the summer.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claim that Rangers are one of a number of sides eyeing the 25-year-old, who has been a bit part player at Craven Cottage in recent seasons.

Out of contract in the summer, Josh Onomah has made only two appearances in the Premier League this season and according to the report, clubs in the Championship are interested.
Rangers boss Michael Beale is also said to have tried to lure Josh Onomah to QPR in the summer, with the player someone the incoming Ibrox boss is well aware of.
Onomah certainly presents an interesting option for Rangers with the midfielder starting his career at Spurs, for whom the midfielder played semi-regularly in the Premier League as a youngster.
Loan moves to Sheffield Wednesday and Aston Villa would follow, before Josh Onomah moved to Fulham in 2019, where he has been involved in campaigns across the top two tiers of English football.
Also an England U21 international regular as a youth, Onomah is clearly a player of talent and given Beale’s links to the English market this could be one to watch.
Josh Onomah links comes amid Rangers transfer claims
The claims also come after Rangers manager Michael Beale suggested that there is money to spend in January if the club feel it necessary.
“There will be money available to recruit in January,” said Beale.
“I’ll be keen to do it if I don’t get the right vibe off one or two players in the squad right now.
“Without mentioning names, I have to get the right vibe off certain players. I have to know they’re still the boy that we recruited to come in.
“Because if they don’t want to be here, I don’t want them. And I don’t think the club does either. Have I got targets already? One or two but it’s more positional.”
Whilst Josh Onomah is one name being linked to Rangers, another is a North African midfielder.
