Rangers star Alfredo Morelos has been heaping praise on Colombian teammate and new Liverpool signing Luis Diaz following his January move from FC Porto.
Jurgen Klopp’s side splashed out an initial £37m for the Colombian winger – with the fee potentially rising to £49m [Sky Sports] – and Diaz has started his career brightly at Anfield.

Making five appearances for the Reds so far, Luis Diaz opened his account in the 3-1 win over Norwich and looks a shrewd signing as Liverpool beef up their title charge.
Speaking to ESPN Colombia about his life at Rangers and ambitions for Europa League supremacy, Gers star Morelos was also waxing lyrical about the talents of Colombia teammate Diaz.
“He (Luis Diaz) has all the talent, he has everything to be where he is, he has earned it with great effort, what he did in the Copa América, in Porto,” said Morelos.
“In the Premier he is doing well, he has already scored his first goal. The games I have watched is the same Luis from the National Team, he is not afraid.
“He is a very daring player who faces anyone, he has the bow painted on his forehead, with good movements, action and goals.”

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was also called up alongside Luis Diaz for a recent set of World Cup Qualifiers but – frustratingly – was not involved in defeats to Peru and Argentina.
Despite missing crunch Rangers games as a result, Alfredo Morelos insists he is proud to represent his country on the national stage,
“As a player, one feels proud to accompany the National Team in the stands,” said Alfredo Morelos.
“I feel happy personally, I am always supporting my teammates. The results were not given, it is football.

“We have to keep going, we have experienced people, there are two games left and we have to do things in the best way, I always want to be there. Wearing this shirt is the cutest thing.”
Whilst Luis Diaz continues to impress for Liverpool, Alfredo Morelos is also stealing all the headlines for Rangers on the European stage.
