Rangers goalscorer Greg Stewart has spoken to RangersTV following his breakout performance against Aberdeen.
The 29-year-old made his first Premiership start for the club on Saturday afternoon and earned rave reviews from Bears.

He was involved throughout the game but scored his first competitive goal for the club on 40 minutes, before terrorising the opposition defence after the break.
While he hit the post and came close on multiple occasions, he couldn’t quite manage a second goal. Yet, it was he who earned the Gers their second penalty of the day, by drawing a foul from Greg Leigh.
Rangers goalscorer Stewart delighted with first Ibrox goal
“It was obviously really pleasing that I got the nod at the start of the game,” Stewart told RangersTV. “Just to get the opportunity to play, it was obviously a great chance for me to show what I can do.”
“I felt I did well, but obviously most important was getting the three points.”
When asked about his goal, the player looked visibly chuffed. “It’s something I’ve obviously dreamed about doing – since I was a kid, really,”
“I’m actually disappointed I didn’t score more, I thought I could have got two or three today. Maybe four, although I didn’t want to be too greedy,” he joked.
Verdict
It was an outstanding breakthrough display from Stewart who before today had largely been restricted to cameo appearances.
In scoring in front of a full house at Ibrox, he lived every Rangers fans dream and the joy shone through in his celebration.
Steven Gerrard showed faith in the former Dons loanee and he repaid him in full. It seems the Gers have another genuine attacking option, who on the basis of this display, has the quality to do the shirt justice.
It was a great afternoon for the Gers and a dreamy one for Greg Stewart.
