Rangers full-back Borna Barisic has reacted to the win over Porto, in an interview with RangersTV.
The Croatian international has nailed down the left-back berth over the last few months and started his 12th game in a row for the club on Thursday evening.
His dependability and clear quality is making him increasingly popular with the Gers support, and he played his part in a glorious night under the Ibrox lights.
After the final whistle, his joy was there for all to see.
“A really amazing night, I’m so happy, so proud of the team, so proud of the crowd, the atmosphere was amazing like every Europa League game,” Barisic told RangersTV. “At the end, I think we deserved this win..and I don’t know what to say, I’m really happy.”

This a genuine reaction from a player who the fans have taken to over the last few months in particular.
Barisic is visibly delighted to have featured in a win against a team who last season, made it to the last eight of the Champions League.
After a couple of minor nervy moments early on, he was as solid as we’ve come to expect while offering attacking threat from the flank.
It’s a marked improvement on the struggles of his first season at Ibrox.
As the players applauded the fans post-match, he clenched his fists and punched the air. It really looked as though this one meant a lot to him and the interview has backed that up.
Rangers are now in with a strong chance of making the last 32 and sit level on points with Young Boys at the top of the group.
