Glasgow boy Andy Halliday signed on for his childhood heroes exactly four years ago today, and Rangers have been quick to congratulate the player for reaching the special milestone.

There have been ups, downs and plenty of in-betweens for the boy from the Copland Road over the last four campaigns.
Between earning promotion, to tumultuous seasons in the Premiership, to being farmed out to Azerbaijan, plenty have come and went at Ibrox but Andy has stayed.
And the fans are incredibly grateful.

There are fewer players Rangers fans would be more satisfied to see lift 55 come the end of the campaign than Andy Halliday.
A diehard Rangers fan, Halliday has come back from the brink at Ibrox to be a very important squad player.
He has suffered ridicule from rival fans and an unsure future at times, but there is little doubting the former Middlesborough man is exactly where he belongs.
Halliday is someone Gerrard trusts and an incredibly important figure in the Ibrox dressing room. He’s also willing to play anywhere on the pitch as long as it means he’s pulling on the famous jersey.
The midfielder has played an important role in the club’s rebuild since joining in 2015. He’ll also have a role to play at Ibrox this season.

Now 27, the midfielder-turned-left-back always gives his all at Ibrox. His commitment to the cause helped
Halliday achieve his 100th league appearance for Rangers against Motherwell in April.
But with his contract set to expire next summer, can Halliday prove he deserves more time in Govan?
Given everything that’s happened in his Rangers career so far, don’t bet against it.
