When a player signs for Rangers it comes as no surprise when they catch the bug – but when it comes to Matt Polster it appears his whole family have embraced the club.

The former Chicago Fire full-back-turned-midfielder was out for dinner with his family when wife-to-be Brittany Held filmed the Polsters all wearing Rangers tops.

The Americans have clearly taken to Glasgow and the club and Gers fans are loving it on Twitter.

Polster, 26, joined Rangers in January after an initial trial period with the club.

When the American has had his chance at Rangers he has impressed, but the player is always going to be up against given he plays in the same position as James Tavernier.

He even said he was blown away by the atmosphere and the sheer scale of the club’s support [Daily Record].

It’s great to see the American settle into life at Ibrox so quickly and his whole family embrace the culture of the club.

Let’s hope Polster can take his opportunities when they come and make a big impression at Ibrox.
