Rangers fans have responded positively to the news that David Graham has been appointed as the club’s head of communications and media relations.
Graham’s appointment to what is a newly created post wasn’t announced on the club’s website but was covered by BBC Sport.

The Northern Irishman is set to resign from his current role on the Belfast City Council in order to become an important member of staff at the club he says he’s supported all his life.
A previous adviser to Northern Ireland Education Minister, Peter Weir, Graham was elected as a councillor for Balmoral Ward in 2019.
Rangers have had their gripes with media coverage in recent times, and it’s symbolic that a self-confessed fan has been appointed as the man responsible for liaising with outside media.
Gers supporters have taken umbrage at the coverage of the club from multiple different outlets in recent times while a long-running dispute continues with BBC Scotland.
Perhaps part of Graham’s role will be to bring an end to what’s been perceived as unfair coverage.
It’s in some ways a surprise move given the individual’s apparent lack of background in sport, but the appointment has gone down well with Bears on social media, with some recognising Graham from his contributions to Heart & Hand podcast content.
