Fans have lavished praise on Steven Gerrard and Rangers, for a video released on the club’s Twitter account on Friday night.

The piece told of how the manager spotted young Bear Fraser Cameron, singing at the top of his lungs in a clip from a recent Rangers Away Days feature.

He was so impressed by Fraser’s support, that he invited the youngster and his family to Ibrox on a matchday.

Afforded pitchside access, the Cameron’s sat in the dugout and Fraser posed for a picture with Mark Hateley, before getting the chance to walk through the tunnel.

After completing his press duties, the starstruck young supporter then got the chance to meet Stevie G.

“I saw you on a video on my Instagram”, said Gerrard while posing for photos.

Last up for Fraser, kitted out in a full Rangers home strip, was a tour of the trophy room, where he looked suitably fascinated.

What a classy move this was from the manager to offer a young fan and his family an afternoon they’ll never forget.

It’s yet more evidence that Gerrard, despite being a Liverpool man at heart, knows what the club is all about.

He’s got a lot on his plate right now with fixtures coming thick and fast, but he’s still prepared to go the extra mile off the pitch.

Unsurprisingly, the video went down a storm on social media amongst supporters.
