Philippe Clement will be delighted to see his Rangers bench getting stronger every week and he will be even happier now that Danilo is nearing full fitness.

The Brazilian number 99 has made an immediate impact under the Belgian boss and continues to provide match winning contributions.

Rangers now look to have a settled and confident central striker in Danilo and one clip on the club’s official X page makes it clear that he is loving life in Glasgow too.

Rangers fans get Danilo bouncing with fans’ favourite

Already, the 24-year old has his own song but it wasn’t the Oasis cover that had him tapping his feet this time.

Instead it was The Famous RFC rendition from the Rangers fans and Union Bears that saw Danilo jumping up and down.

“The lyrics, if you are unfamiliar, goes something like this:

“When I was born, it was taught to me of glories past.

“Of the famous Rangers and their victories, it was strong as strong can be.

“When I grow old and all my sons they’ll be like me, They’ll follow the greatest club in history.

“The Famous RFC.”

The song is available on most streaming platforms under The Rangers Collective and is a popular one amongst the support, Danilo too it would seem.

Not only does the song have a catchy tune but the words are typically Rangers, a nod to history and how fans are born and bred.

If Danilo keeps up type of performance he displayed at Hampden – minus the absence of a goal – the fans will have even more to sing about in the coming weeks and months.

Philippe Clement has also been impressed with the support so far and, against Hearts, they didn’t stop.

You would think it was an Old Firm cup final or semi-final given the volume and intensity of the atmosphere created.

An atmosphere that had players and fans alike bouncing around.
