It may be early in the season, but some Rangers fans are loving the look of Ovie Ejaria.
The midfielder was one of Steven Gerrard’s new signings over the summer, arrived with a decent reputation. The on-loan Liverpool man has been a mainstay in the side since the beginning of the season.
However, added to the faith being shown in him by the manager, it appears Rangers supporters are also taking to him. Gerrard hasn’t been able to put a foot wrong since arriving at Ibrox, and sections of the support also agree with him about Ejaria.
Here’s what some fans had to say about the midfielder after his most recent performance against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Gerrard has made Ejaria more dynamic & aggressive in a short time. He needs to add better precision in his medium & longer passing though, he sees things & has inventive ideas but doesn't execute.

Well said, I'm fed up with moaners!,we are a great unit,so instead of running down, be positive Ejaria is a young kid, played a handful of games, not scared to try and hold the ball, doesn't hide,he looks like a player!.

Ejaria looked unaccustomed to 100mph pace in the engine room yesterday but never hid or stop working – then got reward with 3rd goal. Hats off for that.

Ejaria young, adjusting to the pace and physicality of the game here but today definitely his best to date. Thought he was excellent particularly second half.

Ejaria is a talented boy. Thought he played well but sometimes took the wrong option. The way he takes the ball and finds a few yards of space is excellent, not seem that from someone so young since Barry. Will only get better.

Ejaria having his best game for @RangersFC

Subsequently, the praise has led to calls for the midfielder to start against Celtic in two weeks.
Nobody knows whether that will happen. However, despite it being early days, Rangers fans are loving the look of Ovie Ejaria.
