Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has claimed fans shouldn’t be surprised to see all three of the Ibrox club’s number 9s involved against Brondby in a major selection hint.
Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala are all expected to get minutes against the Danish Champions as the Ibrox side look to record their first Europa League points.

So far the Gers have experienced defeats to Lyon and Sparta Prague in the competition’s group stages with the Ibrox tie v Brondby being labelled a “must win”.
Speaking ahead of the match, Gerrard was answering questions on the club’s lack of goals this season and claimed that fans can expect to see all three forwards at some point in the match.
“I think we should be scoring more goals, we should be rewarding ourselves for a lot of our good play,” said Gerrard [Rangers].
“We’re getting into the right areas, we’re creating chances. I’d be a lot more frustrated and disappointed if we weren’t creating these chances and we weren’t getting in the right areas and I do believe someone along the line will be on the end of some goals from us.
“I was asked a question about Alfredo at the weekend, it’s quite obvious that he’s not in his best of form but he’s still getting into the right places, his all-round game is still ok and it’s only a matter of time before the goals come.
“He’s sitting on 99 so I’m sure he’ll be desperate to get to 100. I won’t be giving my team selection away but I wouldn’t be surprised if three of my number 9s are involved tomorrow.”
This is a major selection hint ahead of the match with the smart money being on both Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe starting the match at Ibrox.
Zambian striker Fashion Sakala – who is still without a European goal for the club – would then likely come on as a substitute later in the game.
Rangers know that three points are a must in this clash if they harbour any ambitions of playing football beyond Christmas and the onus is on the strikers to deliver.
Meanwhile, Rangers fans fear a key Ibrox star’s exit is imminent after the latest comments regarding the player’s future.
