Rangers have entered into an ‘exciting partnership’ with world-renowned British brand Lucozade Sport for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
The announcement was made via the club’s website and social media channels on Friday afternoon.
It’s stated that both the Rangers Men’s and Women’s teams will use Lucozade Sport as part of their ‘hydration strategy’ as they continue to pursue ‘peak performance’.
Lucozade have a history of partnering with major sports organisations, including the England football and rugby teams, as well as the McLaren F1 team.
They’ve also sponsored individual athletes, with Steven Gerrard amongst those to be signed up during his playing career.

“We are delighted to have developed this partnership with Lucozade Sport,” Rangers’ Head of Performance, Jordan Milsom, told Rangers.co.uk. “As a department, we identify every ‘small margin’ and focus on improving every aspect of our performance.”
“As we face a challenging schedule with two fixtures per week, we will utilise Lucozade Sport as part of our hydration protocols before, during and after a match. We have researched a wide range of companies but believe Lucozade Sport to be the perfect fit for our continued development of elite athletes at Rangers.”
It’s the latest of many partnerships Rangers have announced since James Bisgrove was appointed as the club’s Commercial and Marketing Director.

Bisgrove has overseen the creation of major deals with the Orange County SC and Castore, as well as smaller-scale collaborations with brands such as Titleist and Molton Brown.
The former UEFA man has described Lucozade Sport as an ‘excellent addition to the growing family of commercial partners at Rangers’ [Rangers.co.uk].
Meanwhile, Rangers fans have raised thousands of pounds for Charity since the ‘Big Sleep Out’ event took place last week.
