Michael Stewart being on co-commentary for any Rangers game is always going to be a hard listen but Alan Hutton, at least, evens things up alongside Rory Hamilton.
He might be a former Hearts player, however, it’s more his dislike of all things that come out of Ibrox that clouds his opinions.
One incident between Michael Stewart and Alan Hutton in the first-half saw the ex-Rangers full-back having to defend himself over the microphone.

Around the 30 minute mark, Borna Barisic drove at the Hearts defence and got in behind Toby Sibbick.
The Croatian international got to the byline only for pressure from Sibbick to ease him out of play.
A nothing incident and good defending by the 24-year old, however, Michael Stewart hinted that Alan Hutton had suggested off air that VAR might be looking for a penalty, to which the ex-Gers right back fumed:
“When did I say that Michael?! I never said that.”
With Rory Hamilton interjecting:
“I think I’m going to have to keep my eye on you two.”
It seems as if Stewart was stirring with Hutton merely suggesting that it was a close call, not that it was actually a foul.
Michael Stewart has never been Rangers biggest fan, twice in his career he was a failed trialist, and maybe he struggles to be impartial when he is covering us.
Even Todd Cantwell’s dubious yellow card was justified by the Sportscene pundit, saying that it was unnecessary to foul Alex Cochrane.
It was his second foul, and was no more than a coming together, a small push in the back.
You could hear the disappointment in his voice when Zander Clark fouled Danilo for Rangers penalty too.
Alan Hutton must love having the last laugh.
