One of Rangers’ January signings, Matt Polster, has spoken to the club’s website about his international ambitions.
The 25-year-old has one cap for the United States.

His debut came in early 2018, but since then, things haven’t gone according to plan at club level.
The converted right-back missed several months of the MLS season due to a knee injury and despite sealing his big move almost two months ago, is yet to feature for Rangers.
“The first goal is to get games here and prove I can play at this level and obviously that will correlate and help me get into the national team”, Polster
“My main focus is here. But, of course, I want to be a part of the national team at some point again.”
Polster is continuing a

“That expectation is high and I am willing to work hard and show that I can do what they did here. That is the goal.”
All very level-headed, reasonable responses. He’s clearly an ambitious player and is bound to be raring to go after months without a competitive fixture.
He certainly fielded the questions much more admirably than Eros Grezda did his, during the week.

The winger claimed as quoted by the Daily Record, that his first thought upon getting injured was losing his place in the Albanian national team.
At least Polster realises that when a club like Rangers invests in you, they should be the number one priority.
