Rangers icon Marvin Andrews has sent fans a timely reminder to “keep believing” after the Ibrox side’s miraculous last minute turn around against Aberdeen.

The former Ibrox centre-back made the phrase famous back in the 04/05 Helicopter Sunday season and Andrews clearly hasn’t given up on the league title this season.

Taking to Twitter after Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield netted a late injury time double to down the Dons, Marvin Andrews appears to be taking it as something of a omen.

Rangers were 2-1 down in injury time with Scott Arfield netting in the 95th and 97th minutes to win the day for the Ibrox club in a pulsating match at Pittodrie.

Remarkably, the defender played through the pain and was a vital part of the side who were crowned Champions on the final day of the season at Easter Road.

Rangers won the trophy in spectacular style following a 1-0 win in Edinburgh with Old Firm rival Celtic collapsing in the final minutes to a Scott MacDonald inspired Motherwell.

The Gers kicked off nine points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in the title race and need something of a miracle to turn things around in the second half of the season.

There is momentum building under Michael Beale following victories over Hibs and Aberdeen and let’s hope we’re all like Marvin Andrews in the weeks and months ahead.

Meanwhile, Michael Beale has been praised by Rangers fans for his reaction to that winning goal v Aberdeen.
