Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is set for a deadline busting medical at Leeds United as one of the transfer sagas of the summer rolls to a close.
Leading transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has given the move the “here we go” treatment in one of football’s cast iron catchphrases with the player now set to leave Rangers.
According to Romano, a deal has now been agreed between Rangers, Glen Kamara and Leeds United with a medical set this afternoon.
“Glen Kamara from Rangers to Leeds, deal agreed and here we go — player on his way to undergo medical tests later today,” tweeted Romano.
“Medical booked in the afternoon as deal has been agreed between clubs and on player side.”

Glen Kamara heading for Leeds United medical
The news comes amid much speculation surrounding the situation with Glen Kamara, who has been linked with a move to Leeds United all summer.
Phil Hay – the Leeds United correspondent for the Athletic – had cast some doubt over a move with comments heading into the deadline.
The reputable journalist has suggested that whilst Glen Kamara was being considered by Leeds United, the Finnish international was one of several players being eyed at Elland Road.
Now, a deal for the midfielder appears set to go through and should everything go to plan with Glen Kamara’s medical at Leeds United, Rangers will bank a pretty penny for the player.
Four Lads Had a Dream tweeted about the transfer earlier in the day and claimed that Rangers will bank around £5m from the transfer.

The Ibrox fan media partner also suggested the club will get add-ons in the event of Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League and a sell-on fee percentage.
Now attentions will turn to who Rangers move for at the end of the window with the club’s supporters expecting business to be done.
The situation has also been intensified by that devastating 5-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League Playoffs.
