Steven Gerrard has offered his thoughts on Wednesday night’s victory, to RangersTV.
The Gers ended a five-match winless streak by sweeping aside Hearts 3-0.
It was a much-improved performance in comparison to what was produced throughout March, with Rangers on the front foot from the off.

James Tavernier impressed many fans, while Connor Goldson and Scott Arfield got on the scoresheet.
However, Gerrard reserved special praise for Glen Kamara and Steven Davis.
“Outstanding”, he told RangersTV, when asked to comment on their performances.
“Kamara has been very consistent since he walked through the door. He’s going to continue to grow and improve and I think Rangers have got themselves a good player who’s potentially going to be a top player.”
“What impressed me most tonight about Steven Davis is his physical condition.
“I thought he was everywhere. He looked fit, he looked sharp, it was a clean game. We always know he’s excellent in possession, and he’s got that game intelligence, but I was more impressed by his condition. He looked like a fit Steven Davis tonight and that’s very nice to see.”

Verdict
Plenty of fans weren’t happy with Gerrard team selection before kick-off last night.
However, it was great to see Davis and Kamara get the chance to operate alongside each other.
They are both classy operators when in form and they offered far too much for Hearts in midfield.
Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come, from Davis in particular.
