During Tuesday morning’s press conference, as followed by the official Rangers Twitter account, Steven Gerrard offered his support for the words of Stewart Robertson.
There has been a lot of controversy in recent weeks, surrounding decisions made both on and off the field.

Rangers players have received red cards and retrospective punishment. Yet, players at other clubs seem to be consistently getting away with similar or worse offences.
Those decisions have all been made by the SFA.
However, there’s a sense that an anti-Rangers ‘bias’ extends to BBC Scotland.
There have been suggestions from Bears, that BBC highlights shows and pundits gloss over other incidents, but grill Gers players on a regular basis.
On Monday evening, the club’s Managing Director, Stewart Robertson, spoke at length in a RangersTV interview. He called for changes to the SFA disciplinary system and expressed concern about ‘trial by Sportscene.”

Steven Gerrard has now offered his support.
“I’m totally behind the managing director and the statement”, said the manager, as quoted by the Rangers Twitter account.
“The board are handling it and I trust them on it.”
Clearly, the club are putting forward a united front.
The fans, coaching staff and the board are all dissatisfied at recent treatment and are seeking big changes.
