One of Rangers’ most important players, Daniel Candeias, has spoken out ahead of the upcoming Old Firm fixture, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The Portuguese has made a whopping 45 appearances for the Gers this season.

It’s an indication of both how important he is to the way Gerrard wants to play and also, a shortage of direct competition for him on the right flank.
He seemed to be hitting his very best form last month, after recording a hat-trick of assists against Kilmarnock.
However, he’s been a little off the pace of late since. That’s despite scoring an excellent goal with his weaker left foot in the recent 1-1 draw at Easter Road.

“I will be at 100% for the match against Celtic”, he said, as quoted by the Record.
“We can only look forward and look to the next game – recover the squad and be ready for the next game. I feel a little tired.”
“We have a lot of games this season and sometimes your body will feel the effects. But now, it is important I use this break.”

There’s no doubt a fresh, fully fit Candeias, will be a big asset on derby day.
With Alfredo Morelos free to play, lets hope the two pals can link up to devastating effect once more.
