After a halcyon period of about 24 hours without any injuries, the Rangers treatment room has been busy in recent weeks with Todd Cantwell and Danilo both just getting a clean bill of health.
The pair weren’t quite fit enough to start against Hibernian, however, getting back on the pitch was a step in the right direction.
Philippe Clement will be glad to have two of Rangers most potent attacking threats available again with Todd Cantwell and Danilo both taking to social media to praise the staff behind the scenes.

Todd Cantwell and Danilo in nod to Rangers rehabilitation team
When fully fit, you would expect Cantwell and Danilo both to start, unless Cyriel Dessers continues to show the sort of form that he did against Hibs.
It’s not often in relatively short-term injuries that players give credit to the medical team but both Todd Cantwell and Danilo took the time to thank them.
Under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, there were regular questions asked of the fitness and rehabilitation department due to the lengthy injury list and frequent set-backs suffered by long-term casualties.
Dr Mark Waller may have returned in the summer but, Michael Beale saw a similar scale of misfortune, just as he was starting to have a lucury of riches to choose from.

Philippe Clement has said that the fitness of the squad has to be addressed, an interesting observation given how heavily pre-season training relied on volume rather than quality of sessions.
Beale used the excuse that players’ legs were heavy on more than one occasion in pre-season which maybe would have been better spent developing a style of play and coherent system.
Todd Cantwell and Danilo are the latest to return to health with Kemar Roofe and Ridvan Yilmaz also back.
Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo remain the other key players missing but, hopefully, the rehabilitation team can get them up and running as quick as Cantwell and Danilo to aid Phiippe Clement’s efforts.
