Rangers are just a few days away from returning to competitive action, after a much needed winter break.
After a productive period in the transfer window, one player may be concerned about how he fits in going forward.
Scott Arfield.

The Scottish-born, Canada international, has quickly become a fan favourite at Ibrox.
He had a strong first half of the season and secured cult status for dominating Scott Brown, during last month’s Old Firm.
If Rangers make a tactical change to accommodate new signings, though, he might struggle to start on a regular basis.
So far, this season, he has played the role of the most advanced midfielder, behind a single striker.
Yet, the arrival of Jermain Defoe has led to speculation that Steven Gerrard could switch to a 4-4-2.

In that system, Defoe would join Alfredo Morelos up top.
That, in itself, wouldn’t be a major issue, as Arfield could potentially drop to a more traditional midfield birth.
However, Steven Davis is also back at Ibrox.
He is set to take up one central spot, while Ryan Jack is surely undroppable based on recent performances in the holding role.
Will he drop out of the side?

It depends entirely on the tactics adopted.
In a 4-4-2, Arfield’s chances of a regular spot look extremely slim.
Should Gerrard stick with his previous approach though, the 30-year-old would surely feature more often than not.
As this squad continues to grow, it’s going to be hard to keep everyone happy.
Yet, they do always say, you need competition for places to challenge for silverware.
Maybe question marks over Arfield’s role will spur him on to even better things during the run in.
