Rangers star Borna Barisic appears to find his best at St Mirren and the left-back announced a timely return to form as the Ibrox side dismantled the Paisley club 4-0.
The Croatian international has looked a shadow of his best in recent months and found himself out of the side after being hooked at half-time in the 3-0 defeat to Celtic.

It had began to look like curtains for Borna Barisic at Rangers with Nigerian international Bassey usurping him and the summer window looming large.
But as it transpires some time out of the team appears to have done Borna good and the player was probably the man of the match after hat-trick hero Kemar Roofe.
As the season enters a vital stage, it’s a timely return to form for a player who is very much fragile at times and someone who thrives on confidence.
It’s not the first time Borna Barisic has announced himself to the Rangers faithful in Paisley either.
Rangers star Borna Barisic announced himself at St Mirren
Back in 2019, one year on from when the Croat signed for the club, there were major doubts regarding his ability to make it at Rangers.
But with the Ibrox side in desperate need of a goal and the match against the Buddies tight, up stepped Borna Barisic to break St Mirren hearts with a stunning free-kick.
In doing so, Borna announced himself at Ibrox and won Rangers fan hearts and the rest is history.
This time around, Barisic might not have scored but we get the impression this was a big day for the defender as Borna looks to bounce back from a challenging few weeks.
For Rangers too, with Calvin Bassey missing out courtesy of a groin issue and the club awaiting news on Filip Helander, it’s a timely return to form for someone who has been one of the club’s most important players.
Meanwhile, Rangers can also be happy with the return of another key player as they await news on one of the club’s better performers in 2022.
