Rangers fans cannot get enough of Joe Aribo at the moment as the Ibrox frontrunner for Player of the Year continued his fine form against Hearts.
The ice-cool Nigerian international midfielder once again showed his class in a silky display that was topped off by a wonderful touch and finish to put the Gers 2-0 up at Tynecastle.
It was a match-defining moment and contributed to the ex-Charlton star winning the Sky Sports Man of the Match come full-time.
Joe Aribo touch v Hearts leaves Rangers fans stunned
There’s one moment from the match in particular which has stood out to supporters with fans praising the quality of that Joe Aribo touch before scoring against Hearts.
Centre-back Connor Goldson – another impressive performer against the Jambos – fed a lovely long diagonal over the top of the Hearts defence with Joe Aribo breaking through.
As he put out a stretched leg, Aribo plucked the ball out of the air with his toe in a perfect first touch which teed him to finish past Craig Gordon.
The Hearts stopper – who also had a good game – thought Joe Aribo was going to go inside with the effort but the midfielder lashed it towards the outside post.
It was a neat finish and further evidence of Joe Aribo’s increasing importance, but it was the touch that has Gers fans fawning come full-time:

The result maintains Rangers’ four point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership and the Gers have now won four from four matches in the league under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The goal against Hearts was also the 6th league strike of the season for Joe Aribo and alongside Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe he is Rangers’ top scorer in the division.
Next up for the Gers is a league return to Ibrox where GVB’s side will host St Johnstone before welcoming Dundee United next weekend.
Here’s three things we learned as Joe Aribo broke Jambo Hearts and continue Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s strong start.
