Rangers fans have hijacked a tweet from prominent broadcaster Peter Martin after he claimed that Celtic star Callum McGregor is the best midfielder in Scotland.
The Scotland international and Parkhead captain is viewed as the foundation of Celtic’s resurgent form and Peter Martin took to Twitter to make the claim.

This was after Celtic’s 3-0 victory over Dundee United which cut Rangers’ lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to four points.
Callum McGregor, 28, has been instrumental for the Parkhead side this season and it’s given rise to much commentary surrounding his performances, including these claims from Peter Martin.
Similarly, the Gers enjoyed a 3-0 victory over a side from the City of Discovery themselves this weekend as they dumped Dundee at Ibrox.
In that match, a midfielder of our own once again stole the show as the silky Joe Aribo both opened the scoring and dominated proceedings.
The Nigerian international midfielder has been a joy to watch this season and has taken a major development from influential talent to matchwinner.
Rangers fans put Joe Aribo poser to Peter Martin after Celtic Callum McGregor claims
For many Rangers fans the ex-Charlton man’s immense form makes him the club’s Player of the Season so far and there’s a reason why a trio of Premier League clubs have been linked.
Aribo has five goals and three assists this season whilst Callum McGregor – although a different style of player – has two goals and three assists.
Links down south are ominous for Rangers fans and they’ll be hoping to keep hold of the talented midfielder but his current form as seen them refute Peter Martin.
According to bluenoses, Callum McGregor might be on good form but Joseph Oluwaseyi Temitope Ayodele-Aribo is the best midfielder in Scotland:
Joe Aribo must play golf or something! https://t.co/fhornwpiJf

Rangers fans have certainly taken to Joe Aribo and are getting somewhat used to the notion that they’ll need to enjoy the 25-year-old whilst they can.
A =graceful footballer who is beginning to consistently deliver in the final third, there’s a feeling it’s only a matter of time before someone comes along and plucks him from Ibrox and it’s clear fans don’t agree with Peter Martin.
Speaking of talented Rangers stars, one loan star has been filmed partying with his adopted club’s fans after helping the side to a legendary victory against the divisional Champions.
