It was a year to the day, yesterday, that Greg Docherty signed for Rangers.
Arriving from Hamilton, he cost the Gers approximately £750k and signed a four-year contract.

He featured regularly across the second half of the season.
However, not long after Steven Gerrard arrived at the club, the 22-year-old left on loan.
He joined Shrewsbury Town on a deal until the end of the season, and was asked to prove himself in England’s third tier.
So far, Docherty has amassed 31 appearances in all competitions.
It’s League One where he has been most influential – netting five times and providing five assists by the mid-way point of the campaign.

Those impressive stats that show the blue nose has what it takes as a box to box midfielder.
Most recently, he outperformed the likes of Charlie Adam and Joe Allen, when up against Stoke City in the FA Cup Third Round.
Ultimately, it was his assist that clinched victory in the dying stages.

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed either.
Shrews manager, Sam Ricketts, has singled him out for praise, while Rangers are said to be happy with the progress being made.
To mark the anniversary of signing for his boyhood club, Docherty tweeted a throwback yesterday.
Now more than ever, it seems Bears want him back at Ibrox.
