Rangers were busy in the January Transfer Window, bringing in Jermain Defoe, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Matt Polster and Andy Firth.
Now, one month on from deadline day, we look at how they’ve fared so far.
Jermain Defoe: Appearances – 9, Goals – 5
The England international came with a big reputation, and he’s more or less living up to it.
He started with a bang, scoring just twelve minutes into his debut. Since then, there have been a few frustrating outings, particularly when he has been deployed as a lone striker.
Yet, his goals to games ratio is impressive for a mid-season arrival.
He now appears to be at his most effective off the bench, where his movement stretches flagging defences.
Grade – A

Steven Davis: Appearances – 9, Goals – 0
The Northern Ireland captain hasn’t got off to such a great start. Of course, this is his second spell at the club and first time round, he delivered on a consistent basis.
Whether its age or simply a lack of match fitness, he is struggling to get up to speed at the minute.
Has shown glimpses of his class, but was also derided for a poor display against St Johnstone.
Lots of work to do, but he’s been an excellent player for a long time. He’ll be determined to prove his worth.
Grade – C+

Glen Kamara: Appearances – 4, Goals – 1
The Finnish international had to wait some time before he got his first opportunity.
Since then, he hasn’t looked back.
On Wednesday evening, he started his fourth consecutive game and capped it with a fine early goal.
He looks at home in the Rangers midfield already and is a major hit with the Ibrox faithful.
Grade – A

Matt Polster: Appearances – 0
Not much to report on the American international, so far. Lack of match fitness and then a niggling groin problem have kept him out of action. A debut seems near.
Grade – N/A
Andy Firth: Appearances – 0
The 22-year-old Englishman is yet to feature.
Unlike with Polster, though, a debut doesn’t look imminent. Firmly behind Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham in the pecking order, his role is primarily on the training ground for now.
Grade – N/A
