For one of our final Half-Term Reports, it seems appropriate to evaluate Ryan Hardie.
While he has been on loan for the first half of the season, he is now back with the Gers.

A few months into the season, it seemed unlikely that Hardie would become a big topic of conversation for Rangers fans.
Nursing a long-term injury and into his fifth loan spell away from Ibrox, his future with the Teddy Bears looked bleak.
Yet, what he produced after returning to action, was nothing short of remarkable.
Despite being extremely inexperienced at Scottish Premiership level, he has netted five times in five starts.
His standout performance so far, earned him a Man of the Match award.
In a 5-0 mauling of Hearts on 14th December, Hardie showed composure beyond his years to notch an excellent brace.
In general, across December, his running in behind wreaked havoc with opposition defences.

Of course, he has only been fully fit for a month, so this is a small sample size.
Additionally, it remains unclear whether or not he will stay at Rangers or return to Livi for the second half of the season.
However, two things are clear.
Firstly, at £225k, this talent’s market valuation is far too low.
Secondly, with his current deal expiring in May, Rangers must tie him to an improved contract sooner rather than later.
