Rangers got one piece of last minute business over the line, on Deadline Day.
Glen Kamara joined the Gers from Dundee, signing a four-and-a-half year contract.

One of Gerrard’s summer signings, Lassana Coulibaly, may just be cursing his luck.
After the arrival of Steven Davis at the beginning of the window, Rangers’ midfield was already well stocked.
The arrival of Kamara now sees that it’s full to the brim.
Of course, Jordan Rossiter exited on loan yesterday, freeing up some space. For me, though, he wasn’t a realistic challenger for a starting spot.

He scored the second goal and put in a solid overall display, as reflected by the Rangers News Player Ratings.
However, such opportunities may become even more few and far between.
The Mali international now has to compete with Davis, Kamara, Ryan Jack, Scott Arfield, Ross McCrorie and on occasion, Andy Halliday, for a spot in midfield.
That’s a formidable set of players to be running against.

Coulibaly needs to ensure he is ready to step up when called upon.
Ultimately, if he is unable to regain his early season form, it will be hard for him to secure a permanent deal.
