Sunday afternoon saw Rangers end their SPL season with a defeat.
It was a stark reminder that despite progress and a good run of form over the last two months, there’s still a way to go.
However, four members of yesterday’s starting XI may play no further part in the Gerrard revolution.
Wes Foderingham
The 28-year-old stopper has been Allan McGregor’s backup all season. The only time he’s really got a look in of any note has been when the former Scotland keeper is suspended. The Rugby Park defeat was just his eighth outing of the season.
He’s already said he’s not happy with being an understudy in the long-term [Daily Record]. Furthermore, the Scottish Sun claims both he and Jak Alnwick will leave in the summer.

Joe Worrall
The centre-back racked up 31 appearances on loan from Nottingham Forest this season. However, that deal has now expired and the 22-year-old will shortly be on his way back to his parent club.
Last week, Mark Allen confirmed the Gers have no intention of trying to bring him in on a permanent deal [RangersTV].
Ryan Kent
Kent is adored by the Rangers fans and won the SFA Young Player of the Year award after making a big impact in Scotland. However, he too came in on a season-long loan and will soon return to Liverpool.
Gerrard has assured the fans he’s doing everything he can to get him back [Daily Record]. Yet, given his reported price tag of £12m [Liverpool Echo], that may not be enough.

Alfredo Morelos
El Bufalo’s future has been the subject of speculation for months now. Against Killie, he became the first Rangers striker to net 30 in a season since Kris Boyd and what’s more, he’s contracted until 2023.
Last week, though, the Colombian claimed ‘many clubs’ were interested in him [Scottish Sun]. Reports have suggested likes of Leicester City and Borussia Dortmund are interested [Sky Sports], so he could leave for big money once the window opens.
