He’s hardly a household name in Scotland, though.

1) Born in Split, Croatia in 1992, he is 26 years old.
2) Vukovic is currently contracted to Primeira Liga outfit, Maritimo. He moved to Portuguese football on a three-year contract last summer, after securing a transfer from Ukrainian club Olimpik Donetsk.
3)
He is a defensive midfielder and at 6ft, he offers a physical presence. So far this season, he has made 16 appearances and has been sent off once.
4) He is a former Croatia youth international, with 12 caps at U19 level.
5) As of 11 January, his Transfermarkt valuation is £360k.

Furthermore, if reports are to be believed, it’s thought that Rangers are facing competition for his services.
Several Premier League clubs, including Wolves and Chelsea, have been touted as potential suitors by talkSPORT.
It’s early days, yet, though.

With plenty of time left to run on his current deal, there won’t be any pre-contract agreements here.
Rangers are already well stocked in terms of central midfield options.
Therefore, this guy will need to be special to warrant engaging in a chase for his services.
