Rangers have confirmed two contract extensions via their Youth Academy Twitter account.
Joao Balde and Ben Williamson, have committed to Rangers until the summer of 2020.
This news comes hot on the heels of Balde gaining a call-up to a training camp with Portugal U18s.
It seems that news has prompted the club to make sure they retain his services for at least another season.
The other youngster to sign, Williamson, is a 17-year-old midfielder.
He’ll no doubt be hoping to emulate the likes of Ross McCrorie, in progressing all the way through the Academy system to become a first team star.
Youth sections booming
There has been significant investment in and success at youth level throughout the season.
Under Graeme Murty, the Reserve team is thriving.

Furthermore, at age-group level, there’s been an abundance of collective and individual success.
The u17s became the first British team to win the Alkass International Cup and Balde isn’t the only one to earn a youth international call-up.
Last week, five Rangers players started in two of Scotland U19s Elite Group matches in Portugal.
The future looks bright and now two more players will be a part of that, at least in the short-term.
