Teenage Rangers star Tyler Pasnik was left celebrating last night after bagging a hat-trick for the Gers under-18s against Celtic in a 3-0 win.

The Rangers Academy star took to social media to mark his hat-trick with a picture of his number 10 jersey from last night’s triumph.

All three of the teenager’s goals against Celtic last night came in the opening 45 as Rangers went top of the CAS under-18 league – although second-placed Hibs have six games in hand and seem certain to overtake the Gers.

Third-placed Hearts, who have played one game fewer than Rangers, sit nine points behind the Light Blues in the table.

Pasnik, who has a deal with German sportswear giants Adidas, has been part of the club since he was four years old, joined the Academy aged 10 and signed his first professional contract with Rangers almost a year ago to the day, becoming the first of the 2005s at the club to sign pro terms.

The 17-year-old can play in midfield or attack and has been a vital part of the under-18 side this season, appearing regularly on the scoresheet as the Gers aim to pick up more silverware.
