This afternoon, Rangers U17s take on AS Roma in the final of the Alkass Cup, in Doha, Qatar.
Kick-off is 2:45pm UK time, and a live stream will be available via the Rangers website and Facebook page.

The game represents a massive opportunity for the club’s young stars.
It’s Rangers’s first entry into this prestigious event. Paris Saint Germain are the reigning champions, having defeated Kashiwa Reysol, in the most recent final.
The Gers have already taken care of last year’s runners-up, though, despatching them 5-1 in Wednesday’s semi-final.
Kai Kennedy and Nathan Young-Coombes were the stand out contributors to that win, with the former grabbing a brace and the latter scoring, as well as pulling off an outrageous piece of skill.

They won’t have it all their own way today, though.
Roma represent stiff competition.
To book their place in the final, they defeated tournament hosts, Aspire Academy, on penalties.
That’s no mean feat, as Aspire looked a quality side in their 3-1 win over Rangers last week.

Regardless of today’s result, the U17s have done the club proud.

To reach the final of a tournament boasting so many big name clubs, is a major coup in itself.
Yet, it would be a special achievement if they could go all the way.
Here’s hoping they get over the line this afternoon.
