Rangers Assistant Manager Gary McAllister took the pre-match press conference yesterday for tonight’s Betfred Cup Quarter Final with Ayr. The former Scotland hero hinted they’d be several non-routine inclusions in the Rangers lineup.
The Ibrox side now have a competition in every position. It has been a considerable time since Rangers had such healthy squad depth.
With the team also firing, players are desperate to be involved and prove their worth in Gerrard’s side.

The goalkeeping position is just one of several Rangers are lucky to have two strong options. Fans can expect some squad rotation and many to feature.
But it might be the youthful additions which catch most Rangers fans by surprise tomorrow.
This will by no means be a conventional Rangers line-up tomorrow and it’ll also be a good chance to get some fringe players fit. That’s extra exciting for Rangers fans considering they might not be fringe players for long.
Whoever starts, the team will have to contend with in-form Ayr man, Lawrence Shankland.
Here’s the Rangers lineup that we think McAllister and co. will go with in tonight’s match.
