Ryan Kent’s performance against Livingston has brought plenty of praise from Rangers supporters.
It isn’t what Rangers fans wanted to focus on, but Kent put in a terrific shift. He was lively and constantly the Gers’ most creative spark going forward.
His influence did wane as the second half wore on, but he had several good moments during the game. Kent set up Alfredo Morelos for a terrific chance that the Colombian should’ve buried. He also made several positive runs forward and forced Liam Kelly into a low stop.
It’s fair to say his performance didn’t go unnoticed by Gers fans, who took to Twitter to praise the on-loan Liverpool man. Below is the best of the Twitter reaction.

The standout individual
There was only one player who deserved any praise today, and that was Kent. Rangers fans aren’t the only ones praising him either, with Steven Gerrard also singling the on-loan man out for compliments too.
He was certainly lively throughout. Kent has impressed since arriving at Ibrox this season, bagging his first Rangers goal against Dundee two weeks ago. He remains Rangers’ first-choice left-winger after a season-ending injury to Jamie Murphy.
It’s fair to say that Kent is now groing into life as a Rangers after a slow start to his career in Govan. It initially looked like too much responsibility was being given to the young Liverpudlian. But since the injury to Murphy, Kent has made the left-wing slot his own.
Granted, he wasn’t restricted to the left against Livi. Instead, Kent was down the right and slmost playing as a number 10. It seemed as though he had free reign to terrorise Livingston in whatever way he could.
Unfortunately, the result didn’t go Rangers’ way today, but that had nothing to do with Kent. He put in a fine individual display that only continues to show the worth he can bring to Ibrox.
Next up, Rangers host Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night.
