Scotland manager Pedro Martinez Losa has named his squad for the upcoming Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Spain – with five Rangers players making the 25-strong squad for the Hampden clash.

Jenna Fife, Nicola Docherty, Sam Kerr, Lizzie Arnot and Jane Ross have all been included for the World Cup qualifier, more than any other club.

Scotland are second in Group B after five games, five points behind Spain who boast a perfect record so far.

With a four-point cushion over third-placed Hungary, Scotland will hold on to second regardless of the result against Spain at Hampden.

Should Scotland end the campaign in second, that will see them qualify for the playoffs and take a step closer to the Women’s World Cup finals in Australia and New Zealand next year.

Chelsea striker Erin Cuthbert returns to the squad after she missed the Pinatar Cup matches with Wales, Slovakia and Hungary in February through injury.

The Ibrox quintet have played a huge part this season as the Light Blues close in on a historic SWPL title ahead of the women’s leagues joining the SPFL in the summer.

All five will be looking to make their mark for Scotland and continue the fantastic momentum they have at club level for Rangers.
